A holistic approach to dog training based on canine psychology that fosters success and builds a harmonious relationship between owner and dog.
Our Mission
At KimsK9, our mission is to provide a holistic approach to dog training, focusing on behavior correction and nurturing a deep, lasting bond between you and your dog. Training is about more than teaching commands; it's about creating a shared understanding and fostering trust that leads to meaningful transformation.
Our approach equips you with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to address your dog’s unique physical, mental, and emotional needs. By helping you understand why your dog behaves the way it does and how to meet its needs effectively, we empower you to build a balanced relationship. Together, we aim to create positive, lasting changes that enhance your dog’s well-being and the joy of pet ownership.
At KimsK9, we’re here to guide you every step of the way on this rewarding journey.
Meet the Trainer
As a lifelong dog lover who spent many years working in rescue and training her dogs, I decided to pursue my passion and expertise in training dogs using behavioral science.
I learned balanced training from studying with local trainers, but my approach to training transformed after I received Learn to Lead mentorship under the direction of Cheri Wulff Lucas.
As an advocate for the well-being of all dogs, I am deeply committed to promoting positive and humane training methods. My ultimate goal is to help foster a strong and harmonious bond between dogs and their owners.
